Sadly, there is not always time in the schedule of college students to make it to Ash Wednesday Services. To make sure that these individuals are still spiritually fed, we are offering come and go ashes at the Y-Chapel at UCO. Come and take part in this Christian Tradition in between your classes or on your way to work! All are welcome.

Since we are a resource for United Methodist Churches, we are partnering with the United Methodist Churches to provide worship leaders in the community. We want to empower our students to lead not only on campus at UCO but also within their own communities. So instead of stealing away leaders from already established worships, we jump in and worship with them. Our closest partnership is with Edmond First UMC, you are welcome to come worship with us at their contemporary worship (Worship on Hurd).
Before the semester begins, we are gathering our student leadership and training. Interns will be training all day from 9am-5pm while Student Council Members will be training from 4-5pm. We will be taking group photos at 4pm and after that we are getting our calendars together. Mainly this day is to let everyone meet each other face to face but also to allow each student to take the lead on an event. We will be picking the event teams and leads so that we can all know how to balance our time and efforts to make 2019 a success for the movement of the Holy Spirit at UCO.
