Meet Our Staff
Michaela was raised in Del City, OK and was very involved in her church youth group. It was while helping lead a small group discussion that she first heard God's call to be a minister. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma and received a bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication with a minor in Leadership. While at UCO, she was a Resident Assistant and aided students by building community and connecting them with on-campus resources. During her later years in college, she interned at Edmond First United Methodist Church as the Youth Assistant.
Since then she has gone on to join the Oklahoma Army National Guard as a Chaplain Candidate and is studying at St. Paul's School of Theology to become an Elder in the United Methodist Church.
Since the Wesley is a mostly student led ministry, we would not be able to function without the help of our student council. We are proud of our students that volunteer so much of the sparse free time to build the kingdom of God. Student Council members learn to apply the skills needed to share the love of Christ through practical and spiritual skills. They are in charge of making the ministry happen. Council members have led the worship band, bible studies, mission trips, budget planning, promotional activities, youth camps, fundraiser events, and so much more.
If you feel a call to active participation in building the kingdom of God, contact the Wesley Staff.
