Freshmen Family Group (Fall Semesters Only)
Monday Nights 7:30pm
A seperate bible study for new people to college life. In this group students will tend to the needs of their soul with others going through similar issues. Through a combination of team building games, prayer, bible study, and guest speakers from around the state, students will grow in community toward a deeper understanding of their faith journey.
Tuesday Nights 7:30pm
In Bible Study, students are able to theologically wrestle with their understanding of God's call on their life. Small Groups are split by topical focus such as Mission, Pop Culture and the Bible, One Bible---One Year, and Theology Talks. We meet at the beginning of each semester to decide to topics for the semester.
Every Thursday, we meet either on the Wesley lawn and we share a free meal. During this meal we pray and talk together. Meals are cooked and served by churches across the state. This ministry is viewed as an outreach and missional opportunity which feeds close to 200 students each week.
Wesley Running Group
Every Saturday, students meet up at the Wesley to stretch. Then they set off around the school to cover a distance of 1-4 miles. It is all self paced. Even if you don’t think of yourself as a runner, you are welcome. The group is more for accountability than to force each other to workout super hard. After running, students stretch again and then have a warm breakfast at Around the Corner Café. Some students started this to prepare for the OKC Memorial Marathon (most students are signed up for the half marathon or the 5k).
